Problem :
Making your mark in the entertainment industry has always been a challenge for the new comers.
Some Startling Facts: Only 2% of actors make a living. Only 18% of dancers make a full-time living exclusively with dance. Only 12% of the musicians find that most of their income comes from music work. 30% of models quit from modelling at an early stage
Solution :
An app for helping actors, musicians, dancers, singers and models to find gigs and build their connections to help boost their career in the entertainment industry.
Create a channel : Create a place where performers can look at opportunities and find what's best suitable for them
Establish Order : Create order in the currently chaotic and unchecked process of getting a gig and putting it out for application.
Clarity in communication : Be crystal clear in communication so chaos and loss of interest doesn't occur in the performers or the employers

HOW DOES THIS IMPROVE THE SITUATION?
Try to change the existing notions: By giving newcomers more opportunities and let themselves express in their best way we are trying to get rid of the notions where an artist can not make a living through his art.
Clarity and Communication: A bridge that will take out all the middle men, uncertainty and unethical auditions happening around the world. The goal is to create a clear, verified and authentic platform where artists can look for opportunities and agents can put up opportunities to improve the current chaotic situation
Habituate people with a system: Once you get into the habit of letting an app do everything for you from tracking your applicants to sorting them out, it is harder for you to get back to the old means and that is the goal. To make a system that stays and not just a system that comes and goes.
Expand ourselves in a bigger umbrella: More talents leads to more opportunities which leads to more support to the artists. Many talents are yet to be added to our platform. Once we are out there and have accomplished what we wanted to achieve we will keep including talents to create a bigger community that supports artists of all types.
Summary :
This project has been a step into the world of UI UX for me. A project that started of as an interest turned into one of my most extensively thought projects till date. An app that can bring all creative professionals under one umbrella seems like just what the performers need at the moment. From interviews, wireframing to final interface design this was a learning experience for me.
