Client :
A Major Paint Company
Project Duration :
3 Months

Problem :
The company’s professional portal was built on an outdated legacy system that had become slow, error-prone, and costly to maintain, with little room for scalability. Employees struggled with a poor user experience marked by a steep learning curve, confusing navigation, and frequent workflow errors. Day-to-day operations were further hindered by redundant processes and the lack of integration with modern tools. In addition, the system could not meet the company’s growing needs for security, mobility, and data-driven insights to support global expansion.

Solution :
To address these challenges, the legacy portal was completely revamped into a modern, responsive software solution. The new design introduced an intuitive interface with streamlined navigation and well-structured workflows, reducing errors and improving overall usability.

Challenge :
One of the biggest challenges was transforming a complex, outdated system into a modern and user-friendly platform without disrupting existing workflows. The legacy portal was cluttered with inconsistent visual patterns, making navigation confusing and error-prone. Designing forms that balanced clarity with functional accuracy required careful attention to hierarchy and layout. Additionally, the revamp needed to support multiple devices, ensure accessibility, and maintain a consistent brand identity across all touchpoints—all while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align design goals with technical and business requirements.
Summary :
The project focused on revamping a legacy professional portal for a leading paint company that managed employee activities, daily tasks, and communications. The old system was slow, error-prone, and difficult to use, creating a steep learning curve and operational inefficiencies. The challenge was to modernize this platform into a responsive, intuitive solution without disrupting existing workflows.
As a visual designer, I redesigned the interface with a clean, cohesive visual language, streamlined forms, and responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile. I developed a scalable component library, improved accessibility, and created high-fidelity prototypes to validate workflows. The result was a modern, user-friendly portal that reduced errors, simplified daily operations, and empowered employees with a secure, scalable, and mobile-ready system—ultimately positioning the company for future growth.
